Krysia Hnatowicz Jacobs was born in Krakow, Poland, and has lived in the United States since 1981. She is a computer scientist working in the financial industry. In addition to computer science, her background includes theoretical lingustics and philosophy.

Krysia is the author of the web page design for IDEA and copy editor for many of the publications.
