George M. Kren was co-author, with Leon Rapoport, of \"The Holocaust and the Crisis of Human Behavior \". He received his B.A. in 1948 from Colby College, in History, Government, Economics; his M.A. in History from University of Wisconsin at Madison in 1949; and his Ph.D. in History from University of Wisconsin at Madison in 1960 where he studied with George Mosse. Dr. Kren died in 2000. He is missed by his wife Margo, many former students, colleagues, and friends.
